Position: Wine Bar Server / Bartender (full-time & part-time)
Location: Lula Wine Bar, Driggs, ID
Reports to: Wine Bar Supervisor or General Manager
Job Summary: As a Wine Bar Server at Lula Wine Bar, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests while showcasing your knowledge of wines, beers, and mocktails. You will be responsible for pouring and serving beverages, as well as offering a delightful food experience. Your passion for wine and commitment to guest satisfaction will help create memorable moments for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service: Provide outstanding service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Wine and Beverage Service: Pour and serve a variety of wines, beers, and mocktails with knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Food Service: Take and serve food orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation in accordance with our standards.
Wine Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of our wine selection, including tasting notes, food pairings, and regional characteristics to assist guests in making informed choices.
Ongoing Wine Training:Â Servers are expected to participate in regular wine training sessions to enhance their knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and pairing techniques, ensuring they provide informed recommendations and exceptional service to guests.
Menu Familiarity: Stay informed about the food and beverage menu, including specials, to effectively communicate with guests and answer questions.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that glassware, utensils, and serving equipment are properly cleaned and stocked.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest feedback or concerns promptly.
Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service laws and regulations, ensuring that guests are of legal drinking age (21 years or older).
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older.
Previous experience in a server role, preferably in a wine bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of wines and beers, along with a passion for food and drink.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions available.
